So more often than not my cityscapes really don't feature many people let alone wildlife.
However while out shooting early Saturday morning, I was quite surprised to see that 4 swans were swimming their way toward me across the water of Millwall Dock.
Now I must admit my first thoughts were, "oh great they're going to mess up my reflections" ;) But after a short time the reflections were back and I thought it might be a great time to see if I could get an interesting composition with the in. I really wished I'd brought my flash along but it's generally it’s something I tend not to carry on these types of shoots! However I may have to rethink that idea.
It was quite a challenge to get a clean enough shot without any motion blur due to the swans movement but this one was the best of them. The whole experience totally made up for the massive lack of a decent sunrise that morning.
